Qwetó:llhmelhet is a Stó:lō artist from Yeqwyeqwí:ws and Sts’ailes First Nation. She is a painter, carver, and fashion designer. Qwetó:llhmelhet comes from a long line of artists – her father, Rocky LaRock, is a master carver.

“My art became my therapy through my healing journey that has brought me to a place of love and peace within myself.”

About this mural of “Grandmother Dragonfly,” Qwetó:llhmelhet says, “I hope you feel the medicine when you see this painting. I prayed for all of you to feel the love and beauty within yourselves, and I hope she inspires you to keep pushing to become the best version of yourself!”
